ADRIATICO Roasted is an Amaretto liqueur made from all natural vegan certified ingredients and almonds from Puglia that undergo a toasting process. Hand-picked in the Italian countryside, the almonds used to make ADRIATICO are a unique Apulian almond called “Filippo Cea” that are then roasted before being macerated and distilled. The almond trees look out over the Adriatic as they grow. The almonds are harvested, macerated and then distilled. The final amaretto is then blended with cinnamon, cocoa and coffee. Cane sugar is also added but 50% less sugar is used than the traditional amarettos. Finally, a pinch of sea salt from the salt flats next to the Adriatic Sea is added, from which ADRIATICO takes its name.
